El proyecto Memorias de un tocón: Om de la Plana quiere recuperar hechos e historias alrededor del Olmo de Tàrrega, declarado el 1995 Árbol Monumental y actualmente desaparecido, y reconstruir su relación pasada con el paisaje y agentes locales.
El objetivo de investigación al Archivo Comarcal del Urgell (*ACUR) es buscar documentos, fotografías, cartografías o material gráfico que se relacione de forma directa o indirecta con la especie y con el espacio geográfico que ocupa. Especialmente con la imagen de este Olmo, puesto que la ordenanza de protección de los árboles tiene como objeto la protección, conservación y mejora de todas las especies vegetales de interés biológico, paisajístico y social del municipio.
A partir del proceso de investigación y el diálogo con diferentes agentes locales, el proyecto artístico pretende buscar cuáles son las características de nuestras relaciones con el paisaje vegetal; como construimos y hacemos participar este paisaje de árboles con actividades sociales; o qué árboles viejos restan en la población de Tàrrega. De cierta forma, quiere revivir los anillos de tiempos que restan in situ de la especie.

The project Memories of a stump: Om de la Plana wants to recover facts and stories around the Elm of Tàrrega, declared a Monumental Tree in 1995 and currently missing, and to reconstruct its past relationship with the landscape and local agents.
The research objective of the Urgell Regional Archive (*ACUR) is to search for documents, photographs, cartography or graphic material that is directly or indirectly related to the species and the geographical space it occupies. Especially with the image of this Elm, since the tree protection ordinance aims to protect, conserve and improve all plant species of biological, landscape and social interest in the municipality.
Based on the research process and dialogue with different local agents, the artistic project aims to search for the characteristics of our relationships with the plant landscape; how we build and involve this landscape of trees with social activities; or what old trees remain in the town of Tàrrega. In a way, he wants to revive the rings of times that remain in situ of the species.
